Eventline is now open source and available on GitHub !

If you are still using the old Eventline platform, contact us to migrate to the new service, and head to the new documentation website for more information.

Each user in an organization has their own account.

The “Configuration” tab on the “Account” page contains account-wide settings.

You can change your name at any moment. It will only be used for display purposes: your email address remains your primary identifier on the platform.

The following settings are available:

Date format
Either absolute or relative to the current date. The other format is always available by hovering the mouse cursor on date fields.

Password reset

You can change the password of your account on the “Account” tab. You will then receive an email containing a link to page which will allow you to select a new password.

Note that the same procedure can be triggered without being logged in by clicking the “Reset your password” link on the login page.

API keys

The “API keys” tab on the “Account” page is used to managed the keys associated with the account.

API keys are used to connect to the Eventline platform without the web interface. They are currently used by the evcli command line tool.

You can add new keys and delete them at any moment.

The key itself is visually masked in the list; simply click on it to reveal it if you need to copy it.

API keys provide the same level of access as your account credentials. They should be protected with the same precautions as your password.
